Meet Kelley
Registered Nurse and Legal Nurse Consultant
I started my healthcare journey at the University of South Carolina, graduating with a bachelors in exercise science - emphasis in motor development and a minor in psychology. Then at Anderson University I received my bachelors in science of nursing. As a new nurse I went to a general medical surgical floor, then furthering my career I went to a medical/surgical ICU at a level one trauma center and gained a wealth of knowledge. I now travels to different ICUs throughout South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia learning more with every new experience. As a registered nurse I focus on being there for my patients and his/her family. As a legal nurse consultant my focus is on finding justice in each individualized case.

Behind the Scenes
Working in the Intensive Care Unit can be exhausting, tiring, challenging but also very rewarding. I love the excitement and the challenges or puzzles of getting loved ones back to their everyday life. However, that is not always the case. Sometimes, it is helping loved ones say good bye, helping to let go and move on, silently being the hug they need, kind word in their ear or the shoulder to cry on.
Working as a Legal Nurse Consultant I love the challenge of finding the missing puzzle piece (if there is one). Locating experts and the justice to be served. Where I am not for the defense nor the plaintiff, just the truth, as simple or complex as it may be, just the truth.

When I am not working at the hospital taking care of patients and his/her family member or working on a case I love to spend time hiking or traveling with my dogs and amazing fiancé. Experiencing new adventures and never living the same day twice is my goal in life.
